DCDRC: E-Commerce Portal Liable if Seller Does Not Mention Country of Origin of Product - 03.10.2022

District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (DCDRC), Hyderabad while holding an e-commerce platform liable for vendor not displaying country of origin of product, has held that inducing consumer to purchase particular product without mentioning origin of country is a deceptive practice.
