Bombay HC: Woman Who Leaves Matrimonial House Before Divorce Can't Claim Right to Reside in House - 03.10.2022

Bombay High Court has held that a woman, who leaves her matrimonial house before her divorce, cannot later seek right to residence under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (DV Act) even if her appeal against the divorce decree is pending.
