Bombay HC: Owner Does Not Include Importer of Goods - 12.09.2022

Bombay High Court while observing that seized goods can only be provisionally released under Section 110A of the Customs Act, 1962 (the Act) in favour of owner of goods and no one else, has held that the said section does not include release of goods provisionally in favour of an importer of goods.
