SC: Be Slow in Quashing Criminal Proceedings on Basis of Settlement When Offences Impacting Others - 09.09.2022

Supreme Court has held that courts should be slow to exercise their jurisdiction to quash criminal proceedings on the basis of settlement, when offences are capable of having an impact not merely on the complainant and accused but also on others.
