Madras HC to TNPSC: Reservation for Women in Public Employment Can Only be Horizontal, Not Vertical - 09.09.2022

Madras High Court while holding that the reservation for women in public employment can only be made horizontally and not vertically, has directed Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to amend the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act of 2016 accordingly.
