Bombay HC Takes Suo Moto Cognizance of Gadchiroli Elephants Shifting to Zoo - 09.09.2022

Bombay High Court while taking suo moto cognizance of forest department’s decision to move wild elephants from Gadchiroli forest to zoo, has observed that issue is important and it raises a fundamental issue regarding rights of wild animals within the society dominated by human beings.
