Guj. HC Upholds Acquittal of POCSO Accused, Disbelieves Prosecutrix's Birth Certificate - 24.08.2022

Gujarat High Court while upholding acquittal of an accused under POCSO Act on ground that victim's allegations were unreliable and contained several omissions and contradictions, has held that at the time of alleged incident, both brothers of prosecutrix were at home but, she did not shout for help.
