Kar. HC: Application U/S 311 CrPC to Summon Material Witnesses in POCSO Cases Should Be Allowed - 17.08.2022

Karnataka High Court has held that application made by accused under Section 311 of Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) for summoning material witnesses in POCSO cases should be permitted unless Court is of opinion that it is to drag proceedings or permitting it would become abuse of process of law.
