AP HC: Mere Allegation of Harassment Doesn't Attract S.306 IPC - 09.08.2022

Andhra Pradesh High Court while granting pre-arrest bail to 2 women accused of abetment of suicide by their husbands in separate cases has held that Section 306 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) can’t be sustained merely on allegation of harassment without proof of incitement towards commission of suicide.
