SC to Centre: Grant Disability Pension to Kargil War Veteran Discharged Due to Alcohol Dependency - 02.08.2022

Supreme Court has suggested Union Government to not interfere with disability pension payable to a soldier who was discharged from service on disciplinary grounds due to alcohol dependency. Court urged the Government to curve out an exemption for the individual considering the human side of justice.
