SC to Centre: Term of Future NCLT Members Should be 5 Years - 02.08.2022

Supreme Court has turned down plea seeking modification of tenure of members of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) appointed pursuant to notification issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, from 3 years to 5 years, but held that appointments in future must prescribes the tenure to be 5 years.
