Madras HC Rejects Claim to Retrospective Seniority - 08.04.2016

Madras HC has held that candidates appointed in government posts against backlog vacancies meant for Scheduled Castes (SC) cannot claim seniority from the date on which the vacancies arose despite having been appointed years later.
