SC: Bail Conditions Should be Proportionate - 26.07.2022

Supreme Court has held that the bail conditions imposed by the Courts, apart from bearing a nexus with the purpose of imposing them, ought to be proportional to the purpose, thus striking a balance between the liberty of the accused and the enforcement of criminal justice.
