Delhi HC: POCSO Act Will be Applicable to Minor Muslim Girl Who Has Attained Age of Puberty - 08.07.2022

Delhi High Court while rejecting the argument that Muslim man can’t be charged under the POCSO Act because the girl has attained puberty, has held that POCSO Act is not customary law and object of the Act is to secure the tender age of children and ensure they are protected against exploitation.
