SC Bans Permanent Structures in ESZ; Mandates Minimum 1 KM ESZ for Protected Forests - 03.06.2022

Supreme Court has directed that protected forests should have an Eco Sensitive Zone (ESZ) of 1 kilometer and no permanent structure within the ESZ or mining within national wildlife sanctuary or national park will be allowed.
