Gujarat HC: Nexus Between Act and Official Duty Necessary to Claim Benefit U/S 197 CrPC - 02.06.2022

Gujarat high Court has held that if a Government servant is accused of any criminal offence, then there needs to be a reasonable connection between the act concerned and the performance of his official duty to claim benefit under Section 197 of CrPC.
