Orissa HC Orders To Plant At Least 50 Trees As Penalty In Disposal Of Land Encroachment Case - 20.05.2022

Orissa High Court has ordered the Tahalisdar, Kakatpur to plant 'at least 50 trees' as a penalty for passing a 'bizarre' order in a land encroachment case. The Court further held that the Tahsildar did not grant sufficient opportunity to the petitioner before passing order against her.
