Calcutta HC: Accused Shall be Given Opportunity to Explain Circumstances Appearing Against Him - 17.05.2022

Calcutta High Court has observed that while examining an accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC), the prosecution is under a compulsory obligation to give the accused an opportunity to personally explain any circumstances appearing in the evidence against him.
