SC Directs Verification of Workers' Claims as LIC Bound by Constitution - 28.04.2022

Supreme Court has said that the Life Insurance Corporation, as a statutory corporation, is bound by the mandate of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution, and the public employer cannot carry out mass absorption of over 11,000 workers without following a recruitment process.
