Punjab & Haryana HC: No Compromise with Dead Man, FIR u/s 306 IPC Can't Be Quashed on Compromise - 04.04.2022

Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed the petition which seeks quashing of a First Information Report under Section 306 Indian Penal Code, 1860 on the basis of a compromise. The claim was based on the ground that a compromise has been arrived at between the family of the deceased and the accused.
