Andhra Pradesh HC: In Contract, Rate of Interest May be customized by Court on Equitable Grounds: - 30.03.2022

Andhra Pradesh High Court has decided that where the rate of interest is fixed in the contract, it would be open to the Court to alter the rate of interest from the date of the suit till the date of recovery of the money on equitable grounds, if the amount of interest is exorbitant.
