Karnataka HC in Hijab Row Case: Wearing of Hijab Not Essential Practice as Per Islamic Faith - 15.03.2022

Karnataka High Court has ruled in the Hijab row case that the wearing of hijab is not an essential practice as per Islamic faith. The Court has further stated that the prescription of school uniform is lawful and it does not violate right to freedom of speech or right to freedom of privacy of the Constitution of India, 1949.
