NGT Imposes Rs1 Lakh Fine on Realtors for Tree-Felling - 18.03.2016

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed a combined fine of Rs 1 lakh on real estate firms for felling trees in Mangar village in Faridabad district in 2014 and also directed the companies to plant 10 times the number of trees cut, while maintaining the area for 5 years.
