SC Refuses to Entertain Plea Assailing RTE Act to Extent Excludes Madrasahs and Vedic Pathshalas - 11.02.2022

Supreme Court has refused to entertain a plea assailing Section 1(4) and 1(5) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 on the touchstone of Article 14, 15, 16, 21, 21A and the Preamble of the Constitution of India, to the extent that it excludes Madrasahs and Vedic Pathshalas from its ambit.
