CESTAT, Chennai: Builder Cannot be Liable to Pay Service Tax for Construction of Residential Flats - 31.01.2022

Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Chennai has held that the builder cannot be liable to pay service tax for the construction of residential flats for the individuals in view of the circular issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) dated 29.1.2009.
