Paternity Leave for male bank employees

Male bank employees with fewer than two surviving children are eligible for 15 days of paternity leave. During their wife’s confinement, male employees can avail of such leave up to 15 days before or 6 months after the date of delivery of the child. The same was accepted under the 10th Wage Negotiation Settlement signed between the Indian Banks’ Association and employee associations.
