SC: Taking Custody of Jewellery for Safety Cannot Constitute Cruelty Under Section 498A IPC - 14.01.2022

Supreme Court has observed that taking custody of jewellery for safety cannot constitute cruelty within the meaning of Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
