Bombay HC: Aggrieved Person Under DV Act Must be Alive at Time of Filing Petition - 10.01.2022

Bombay High Court has ruled that an aggrieved person, as defined under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act (DV Act), 2005 must be alive at the time of filing of the petition, and someone cannot file an application for monetary reliefs under the act after her demise.
