Allahabad HC: Failure of Investigating Agency to Record Statements to be Recorded Seriously - 10.01.2022

Allahabad High Court has observed that the failure of the investigating agency to record statements of witnesses during an investigation must be viewed seriously by the courts of law, noting that the prosecution, as a matter of routine, does not lay emphasis on the production of independent witnesses during the course of the trial.
