J&K&L High Court Orders 10 Lakh Compensation in Illegal Deprivation of Land Case - 04.01.2022

Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has directed the Jammu and Kashmir Government to pay Rs. 10 Lakh as compensation to the petitioners in a case of illegal deprivation of land, stating that the right to property is a constitutional right that has been acknowledged to be akin to a fundamental right and a basic human right.
