Home Ministry Refuses FCRA Renewal Application of Missionaries of Charity - 28.12.2021

Ministry of Home Affairs has refused the Missionaries of Charity's application for renewal of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) registration for not meeting eligibility conditions as some adverse inputs were received. The Ministry has stated that the organization itself had submitted a request for freezing of bank accounts.
