Madras HC Directs to Extend Scope of Garima Greh Scheme to All LGBTQIA+ Community - 28.12.2021

Madras High Court has directed the Union Government to extend the scope of Garima Greh Scheme to all members of the LGBTQIA+ Community and not transgenders alone, while perusing the status reports filed by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, to ensure the protection of LGBTQIA+ persons in consensual relationships from police harassment.
