Allahabad High Court Quashes Detention Order Against Murder Accused - 24.12.2021

Allahabad High Court has quashed a detention order passed against a murder accused by exercising powers under the National Security Act, 1980 as it observed that if a person is in custody and there is no imminent possibility of his being released, the power of preventive detention should not be exercised.
