Bombay HC: Conviction Cannot be Based on Admissions Made by Accused - 20.12.2021

Bombay High Court has said conviction cannot be solely based on the admissions made by the accused in his statement under Section 313 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973. The prosecution has to prove guilt of the accused beyond reasonable doubt.
