Bombay HC Stays Proceedings Against Nawab Malik In Complaint Filed Under SC/ST Act - 20.12.2021

Bombay High Court has stayed the notice issued to Maharashtra's NCP leader Nawab Malik on an atrocities complaint filed by NCB officer Sameer Wankhede's cousin. The Court has stayed the special court's order in a quashing application under article 482, claiming that Sameer's cousin's complaint was neither supported by an affidavit nor did the court have jurisdiction to issue notice to him.
