SC: Joint Complaint May be Filed by Consumers Having Same Grievance - 20.12.2021

Supreme Court has held that where there are more consumers than one having similar grievance, it is not necessary that they must file consumer complaint in representative capacity under Section 35(1)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act 2019. Instead, these few consumers can join together and file a joint complaint.
