Law Ministry Informs Rajya Sabha Over Provision of Legal Education in Regional Languages - 17.12.2021

Union Ministry for Law and Justice has informed Rajya Sabha via a written reply that under the Advocates Act 1961, the Bar Council of India is the regulatory body for legal education in the country and in its rules for legal education it is clearly envisaged that the medium of instruction can also be other regional languages as per the convenience of the universities.
