Allahabad High Court Issues Direction to Not File FIR Under Section 66A IT Act - 14.12.2021

Allahabad High Court has issued a direction to all the District Courts in Uttar Pradesh and to the Director-General of Police, Uttar Pradesh that no First Information Report be lodged under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and no court to take cognizance on the charge sheet filed under the said section.
