SC: Failure to Disclose Policy-Holder of Changes in Policy Conditions Amounts to Deficiency in Servic - 10.12.2021

Supreme Court has allowed medical claim relief to two senior citizens, holding that the failure of an insurance agent to disclose to the policy-holder the changes in the policy conditions at the time of renewal of the policy will amount to deficiency in service within the ambit of the Consumer Protection Act 1986.
