Rajya Sabha Passes Surrogacy and Assisted Reproductive Technology Bills - 09.12.2021

Rajya Sabha has cleared the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2020, and the Assistive Reproduction Technology (Regulation) Bill, 2021. The two bills aim to regulate in vitro fertilization (IVF) clinics and prohibit commercial surrogacy in India.
