Service Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2016

The Ministry of Finance notified Service Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2016 to amend Service Tax Rules, 1994. Amongst the changes is a substitution in the treatment of a firm of advocates, proprietary and partnership firms and the requirement for assessees to submit annual returns for the financial year by 30 November of the succeeding year.
