PM Narendra Modi: Central Government to Take Steps to Repeal Three Contentious Farm Laws - 19.11.2021

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the Central Government will take steps to repeal the three contentious farm laws. The three contentious farm laws -Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; (2) Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020; and (3)Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020 - enacted by the Parliament in September 2020, have been stoutly opposed by several farmers organizations.
