Madras HC: Producer IS Copyright Owner In Film - 17.11.2021

In a copyright dispute, Madras HC observed that merely because the producer has given credit to the author for screenplay or dialogue, it would not amount to an acknowledgment of the author's copyright therein, insofar, the same is used in the film upon due consideration being paid by the producer.
