Madras High Court Refuses to Interfere with Order Permitting Theatres to Operate at 100% Capacity - 12.11.2021

Madras High Court has dismissed by a writ petition filed for quashing the Government order permitting 100 per cent occupancy in cinema theatres and multiplexes in the backdrop of Covid-19. The Court has observed that the pandemic might not have gone away, but the number of cases has surely subsided, and there is no alarm of an immediate third surge.
