Madras HC: Chennai Metro Rail Limited Doesn’t Have Statutory Backing to Impose Fine - 12.11.2021

Madras High Court has held that the Chennai Metro Rail Limited doesn't have any statutory backing to do the same, in a public interest litigation challenging their press release that imposes a fine of Rs 200 for those not wearing face masks inside any metro station premises.
