Tripura HC Asks to Form Expert Committee to Assess Condition of Endangered Karbong Community - 22.10.2021

Tripura High Court has taken suo motu cognizance of a news report highlighting the plight of Karbong community, said to be on the verge of extinction on account of poor socio-economic conditions. The Court has directed the Central and State governments to conduct a detailed study on the community and submit the findings by way of an affidavit by 9th November, 2021.
