Budget to engage more through social media

The Finance Minister laid out the Economic Survey 2015-2016 in Parliament on 26 February 2016, while the General Budget 2016-2017 will be presented on 29 February 2016. In addition to being disseminated in hard copy over the internet soon after the speech is over, the Ministry of Finance will also update its social media platforms, including its newly launched YouTube channel. Limited paper copies of Budget documents will be made this year, with no more than three sets available to any one media organisation.
