Madras HC Imposes Costs of Rs. 2.25 Lakh on 9 Over Delay in Constructing ROB - 26.02.2016

Madras HC has imposed costs of Rs. 2.25 lakh on nine individuals, including 2 Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam councillors, R. Arumugam and D. Andavar of Virudhunagar Municipality, for inordinate delay of 8 years in commencing construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) on Ramamurthy Road in Virudhunagar.
