Delhi High Court Refuses to Quash FIR For Offence of Attempt to Murder - 22.09.2021

Delhi High Court has refused to quash an FIR registered for an offence under 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code 1860, observing that an offence of Attempt To Murder will fall under the category of heinous offence, and therefore, has to be treated as a crime against society and cannot be quashed on the ground that the parties have resolved the entire disputes amongst themselves.
