SC: Compromise Between Accused and Victim Cannot be Solitary Basis to Reduce Sentence - 21.09.2021

Supreme Court has observed that compromise between accused and victim cannot be the solitary basis to reduce sentence awarded for non-­compoundable offences. The Court has observed that other aggravating and mitigating factors has to be examined for the said purpose.
